2016 US currency?

Only if the Treasurer, Secretary of the Treasury, or both, change. Also if there's a design change.

From what I heard, it will happen in the year 2020.

 

Maybe, maybe not, depends on who gets elected? (Nothing political intended mods)

 

Not trying to get political, either, but why would a new President keep the current people?
You'd think he/she would have friends and/or campaign contributors to give those jobs to.

 

I was more or less thinking about "real time" as it takes some time for the new POTUS to hand out these jobs. In the past some have strayed on for a year before any changes were made. Some even longer.
