Could you explain that statement? I'm a little confused, didn't they put it in directly at the mint? I believe I have one of these sitting in my collection somewhere.

45 years of vibrations does this to you, look at my avatar, I look a little lopsided now also.
    Great looking coin, congratulations!

I'm a little slow. Because it was crooked... now I get it. :banghead:

Just received the coin and it looks like Wexler DDR-013 .
I'll take some images and post them here ....

Doesn't look like a Peg Leg, and I think WDDR-013 is a Peg Leg.

It is, but no image on wexler site, even the leg on the front of the lower " R " is polished ...

    I'll take a image of it ....

I don't think that qualifies as a peg. It appears to still show a small serif. Could be a shadow trick though I guess

I'm gonna agree with @Cascade the picture you posted doesn't show any abrading or even a slight curve on the left leg of the R that I can see.

You have to measure the length of leg on the back of the "R" . Its a long ways from the top of Ike head and it suppose to be close to the top of Ike head ...

Yeah I seen the images via the Ike group. The abrasion and curvature is pretty clearly recognizable on those left R legs even with the small pictures imo.
