1963 1c Clipped Planchet? Your Toughts

    I found this last night. I can't decide whether or not it is a legit clip. I think I see a bit of Blakesly Effect on the obverse. What do you think?

    Thanks Seattlite86. I was having a hell of a time getting a picture of the reverse.

    I see the Blakesley effect on the obverse and cant really tell bout the reverse

    Haha, that happens sometimes. It might be easier next time to rotate the coin 180 degrees so you can get a similar photo of the opposite side of the clip. I think there's enough on the obverse to convince me it's good to go.

    Thanks guys. I've pulled quite a few smaller clips before but not one this large. Not a bad way to end 2015 :)
