Wow, I vaguely even remember logging-on to Coin-Talk yesterday night (*hic*) Ahaha Doug ... sorry, my comments must have been misunderstood? (I tweaked them slightly => hopefully my probably-not-too-funny sense of humour is now poking-through?) ....... I think/hope that JA and HR-LP realize that I'm merely a dude sitting in northern Canada occasionally poking fun at a couple of other random dudes on this planet? Happy New Year to all ....... this year's resolution is to drink less and buy less => 2016 ... the year of turtling and doin' less (less is more in 2016)
uh-oh, I forgot to mention that I want to keep on livin' in 2016 (man, I sure hope that doesn't come back to bite me!?) Oh, and I am also going to try to put my "family first" ... => the wife wants us to tackle the ol' debt thingy, and the dogs want a few more walks in 2016 (so I want to get on-board with the rest of the family and channel my energy towards the popular-goals)
My New Years Word to Live By is: FOCUS! Find Only Coins Under Study Im going to take some time and organize and better document my collection. I will only seek coins that I have properly researched and have a place in my collection. I will not participate in online auctions for the buzz. I am becoming an auction junkie. I will never bid on coins while intoxicated. I will spend more time learning about coins than buying coins. I will not make fun of US coin collectors or graded coins because they are easier to sell. (I probably will a little after all mine are gone) Happy New Year!
That sounds like a very wise and disciplined approach, @JBGood . I'll add "don't try to multitask while bidding" to my list. It often leads to expensive mistakes.
