Has any one purchased coins from Blanchard & Company and what are your thoughts of doing business with them?

I could buy common date Morgans certified by NGC or PCGS in MS 63 to MS 64 for about $54. I do not have any Morgans and thought of buying a few from a reputable dealer.

    Thanks for your input!

What do they mean by common date? 1921, 1878 what? You're better off going for specific dates for specific prices on those common date sales no matter who you go through more often than not you will end up on the wrong side of the deal.

I have heard of them, NGC and PCGS Common Date Morgans Under $60 in MS 64 are a buy. Buy a couple and see what you think.

Any Morgan collecter knows what the common dates are. If anyone doesn`t know, a REDBOOK will tell all.
While the 1921`s are the cheapest of all MS Morgans, the 1878`s are not. There are 1878 8TF, 1878 7/8TF
and 1878 7TF varieties, none of which are common. Not to mention the uncommon 1878CC and the barely common 1878S.

I do agree going after specific dates. A Redbook, Whitman`s Redbook of Morgan Silver Dollars (by Q. David Bowers) or Van Allen and Mallis VAM book (Encyclopedia of Morgan and Peace Dollars) would be good books to buy, or take out from your local library.

If you just want a couple examples of PCGS or NGC MS64 Morgans and can get them for under $60, go for it.......
