Elagabalus Denarius

New year, new coins. Latest addition is a coin I got from JA. It wasn't something I needed but it was one of the few coins that screamed "buy me". Die clash was the bonus.

R.: PM T R P IIII COS III P P, Sol radiate, half-draped, with flying cloak, advancing left, raising right hand and holding whip; in field, star.

Yeah, that was one of my favorites from the last batch of Severan Dynasty denarii as well.

My only two Elagabalus examples ... yah, you've seen 'em before ...
