1990 Silver Maple Leaf, Proof, Mint Sealed

    (Pardon the title, it's a 1998)
    Here is a pretty NCLT coin still in the (scratchy) Royal Canadian Mint plastic. It's got the Titanic Privy stamp on it. I think the total struck was something like 25,000.

    i dunno ... im not big on the Maple. Other than a select few examples, i dont find them artisticly pleasing. not ALL coinage, but most.

    would that coin be considered reverse proof? with the field being frosted and the image being polished?!?

    Thanks for the looksee. According to the CDN Mint it's a Proof. I've always bought a lot of Canadian stuff due to my, ahem proximity to the source. believe it or not, CDN silver dollars are hard to get in Texas coin shops. I usually get two of each and send the duplicates to my younger brother on his birthday or Christmas. :)
