Given that it's the end of 2015, how did you do on filling in or completing the set(s) you are working on?

For myself, the three big additions (unfortunately no decent pix of them) were an 1858-O Seated Liberty half dollar in MS64 for the 1858 business strike set, a PR66BN IHC for the 1893 proof set (no gold), and a 1953-D MS66FBL Franklin (an upgrade) for the Franklin business strike set.

The Franklin set has been completed for some years now, except for the occasional upgrade. The 1893 proof set just needs a cameo Barber quarter. The 1858 business strike set still has a long way to go.

Finished a date set -- plus some additionals - on my Morgans and am one shy of a date set on my Peace set.

Also started a Liberty gold set with the $2.50 and the $5. That will take some time and $$$.

As an aside, I assembled a set of the six basic Jefferson proofs from '38 through '42.

    It was a fun year!

I completed a mostly uncirculated date set of braided hair large cents. Otherwise, this has been a pretty slow year of collecting for me. I have sank a pile of cash into a numismaticly related venture, but that is still in the works. Hopefully I will finally get that going within the next couple of months; I think you will all really like what I'm working on.

2015 marked the year in which I actually completed a set -- 50-coin classic commems. Bought the Hawaiian at the FUN show in January.

I only picked up one coin towards my US Type Set, but I am very happy with it since it is also an RPD. I picked up a lot of coins from mostly Zambia and Namibia, but also Kenya, Angola, and South Africa for my World Type Set as well as spares for trading. I also donated about 1,000 of my excess world coins (aka hoard) to a Boy Scout Troop to assist about 15 Boy Scouts could earn their coin collecting merit badge. All in all, it was a good year.

I upgraded a Morgan or two this year... and added to my graded ASE set

I think I did well, but that's just me. I added to some sets (Morgan/Peace/Type Set), I added some cool World Coins, bought some more books to read and had a great time doing it.

I moved from 90 down to only 40 coins left to complete my 20th century US circulating coin set (1184 coins of the 1224 are now in my collection). The remaining coins are getting quite pricy. I'm hoping to get to 30 by the end of 2016.

I completed a few "color" coin sets-i.e. coins with attractive toning. First, I finished my 20th century color type set and also a date set of nicely toned Franklins. I also finished my doubled die type set with coins from the 19th and 20th century. That one took a while.

Got my Kennedy Halves set within 1 coin of completion at PF 69 UC... only the 1971 still eludes me.... Don't see it often, and very pricey when it does come around...

I need one more Walker to complete my short set...all are slabbed 63 to 65. Of all the dates, a '46 P seems to be eluding me...anyone have a clean slabbed one for sale? 1941 P obv ms65 beautiful.JPG

Basically started this Wheatie Set in April 2015 ... finished in November 2015. All coins are PCGS graded as problem free, typically ranging from MS62 to MS67. All images are resized PCGS TrueView photos.

I made significant headway on my Walking Liberty Half set. The set is being put together @ VF to MS. I also made a decent gain to my Franklin 65FBL set (minus the 53-s). I completed my Washington Quarter silver set a while ago, I just upgraded my 32-d and 32-s twice this year. My MS65 Walking Liberty short set was completed also (seperate from the full run set im putting together).

I think I am spreading myself too thin. I started a 7070 with gold set, and I am looking into starting a Barber Quarter set. I would like to finish one of these sets before starting the quarter set though.
