I found this 1990-D Kennedy today and noticed these concentric lines on the obverse. A little searching in the internet and I found these results: http://www.errorvariety.com/Lathe-lines/ http://www.errorvariety.com/Lathe-lines/9050CLL001.html http://www.ebay.com/gds/Lathe-Lines-Concentric-on-coins-/10000000176090532/g.html
The 1990 Kennedy is listed. I found 7 1990D 1c in the past year. I think I even have a couple of new finds but no one seems to be interested. I posted some and mostly got ridiculed for even caring about them...
It's a shame. In the 50's and 60's people were crazy for die chips on 1956 Lincolns. Now the market has moved on to grading etc. I've been looking for these coins for a long time (only have 3-4). Most coins like CN 1c with them are too expensive now. The 1c on the error site is a gem. I would pay $20 for a gem like that.
