I'm not a good photographer and the lighting needs to be better, but thought I'd share this anyway. Thoughts? 1829 half obv.jpg 1829 half rev.jpg

You would get better results if you removed the coin from the 2 X 2 when you take a photo.
Also there is a "FREE" program called PhotoScape that you can use to crop photo also.

Very nice looking coin and I agree with the Fine grade. Having said that I think it would be in your best interest if you took some pliers and flattened those staples so as not to scratch the coin.

FYI, they have Photoscape X out now. I just downloaded it today. Has some more features.

I wonder if they have a PhotoScape for Chromebook?

Pretty sure it has been cleaned. (But all old silver has been cleaned.)
When the coin is very worn and still shiny, it's been harshly cleaned.
But I could be wrong as I usually am, and it could just be the lighting.
F may be correct, but why are they selling an F coin at G-04 prices? A true F is $100.

Jim Long often has these end of the series dates in V.F. at $80.00. Guess it depends on the dealer. The guides do not always reflect the market.

Looks very nice, CN I think is right Fine is correct and those staples do need some attention.

I too thought it might have been cleaned. But I wasn't quite certain of that. I know that a true Fine is $100 to $125, but I didn't want to pass it up. I don't have any other bust halves, this is my first one!
