Value of this rare coin.

Hi going to sell this coin but cant find any info on a previouse sales.
It is a 1827 5 roubles it is 22.6 mm and weight is 6.54 grams.
Any info on value would be a great help.

When you click on the hammer like it says it takes you to the wrong coin a common silver 5 rubles.

If it's very rare you may be better off sending it to Heritage or some other major auction house.

 

Well I was able to find lots of Chinese fakes. Agree with the poster that said best to send it to an auction house if you're selling so it can be authenticated/graded, etc.

My first reaction when I saw the coin, before reading the thread, was "I'm not sure that's authentic."

Given the value of that coin, I hope for your sake that it is real.

The odds, however, are likely that it is not.

Send it to NGC and let them grade and authenticate it.
