Nope, I like what they have posted BUT I did not go far enough down the list to see the "untouchables" (not the Indian usage) john Henry and Stevex6
I have seen a lot of "Best Answers" but I was hesitant to pick them without knowing how the long-time members grate the answers. Looking at many very active members profiles I found NO best answers noted; yet they all have really good replies for the most part. LOL...this happened to me as a great joke by derkenlegend on the Cabinet friction vs wear thread. Now, I'm ruined forever
I disagree. A lot of questions don't really have "best answers," and those that do are usually the very basic ones (e.g. stuff about cleaning coins).
I'm at around 200%, but that's because I always make sure my envelopes with bribes hit the mail every week.
The best answer thing is a pretty new feature here and seems to be seldom used. For me, it's because once the best answer is used, the thread is marked as having been answered and the discussion seems to drop off. Coins are so subjective when it comes to grade, value and cleaning, so the subject for debate shouldn't be closed.
Realize that older members are at a disadvantage, since the 'like' system is fairly new to us oldies. So your method is prejudiced against us.
Not nessicarily. I'm strictly a US coin guy. And I'm in the top 10 in likes. Probably what's kept me from getting banned
That deserves a rimshot. (Auto playing rimshot there, so don't click if you don't want sound coming out of your speakers.)
