I thought that I would share pictures of a set of commemorative coins sold in 1973 to honor the Texas Ranger's.
When I first saw the post, I was wondering how the Texas Rangers could be in the Hall of Fame in 1973. They had been in Texas for only a year and were stinking up the American League. Ah, though, the REAL Texas Rangers.. .
Here are more of the Ranger's and proof that you should never put a piece of paper inside a coin case and touching a coin (or silver round)!
A neat nod to history there. Maybe a tenuous connection here, a sterling canadian commem of the RCMP. Lousy picture, the marks are not on the coin.
I spent a couple of years in Ontario and loved it there. It seemed like the 51st state to me. Sorry if I'm offending any of my Canadian friends by that.
