And if I do poorly, it's because my Grandmother's sick and I can't really concentrate right now. In fact, I should be excused from the exam.

Students, cheating and disrupting the examination result in automatic disqualification and a mark against your record! :pompous:

8 definitely comes before 11. Its the middle groddies that overlap, I am unsure about.

A lot of you were close but no one got it 100% right. There were two correct sequences I was looking for:

    10, 4, 7, 1, 12, 9, 6, 3, 5, 8, 11, 2

    10, 4, 7, 12, 1, 9, 6, 3, 5, 8, 11, 2

All of you put Honorius before Placidia and Majorian. But this particular siliqua type was not struck by Honorius himself but after he died and in his name by Vandal King Gaiseric during his rule in Carthage, from 440-477 AD putting it after my Placidia (struck 425-435 AD), and before or after Majorian's reign (457-461 AD). Understandable mistake, but still incorrect.

Concerning 1 and 12, here's no way to accurately pinpoint the exact date within King Gaiseric's reign (440-477 AD) that my Vandalic Honorius siliqua (#12) was struck in, so it could have been struck before or after Majorian's (coin #1) reign, so I was willing to accept "1, 12" or "12, 1" in your sequence.

Nearly the same thing with Justinian's coin (#6) and King Theodahad's coin (#9), but my particular solidus type dates from 542-565 AD (Justinian's reign started in 527 AD), a little after Theodahad's reign (534-536 AD).

Anoob and Mikey were closest but Anoob was first so he wins. Congrats!
