I think I may be seeing the next John Ford in action. Keep the cinematography going. :)

You wouldn't want to metal detect in my yard, I throw change everywhere, front and backyard ....

From Green18's avatar, I think he should get the lead in the Broadway musical.

At my old house I found several wheat cents from 1917 - 1957 under an old elm tree in the backyard. That house was built in 1933. My current home was built in 2005 and all I find are nails.

I have found literally hundreds of pounds of junque like this guy got and if you don't dig it/look at it you'll miss the good stuff. The copper/brass piece shaped like a woman's head is called repousse' and was a quite popular art form in the 1800's it made your dig worthwhile! Keep looking and you'll get good coins sooner or later.Let us see them pls...

I found about a $1.98 in common date stuff in my front and back yard. Also some copper tubing and broken china and old discarded medicine tubes, LOT of nothing.
