Merry Christmas Eve!!! So, other than not overpaying (which we all attempt to avoid every day ), any resolutions for your collecting for the new year? Mine is to attempt to become better focused on what coins I purchase. There's too darn many to choose from.
How does one delete a previous post? So far, replacing it with this is the only method that I've found.
I have a ton of previous threats of action to carry through in 2016. Enough to keep me out of trouble, anyway. That, and I'm anticipating a few kinda funky-looking Lincolns to enter my life over the year.
Add more Roman Tetradrachms, focus a bit more on Byzantine coinage, acquire more greeks *hopefully some silver too*. And mainly, just continue to add what attracts me on low budget.
I expect 1934 and 35 Peace dollars to enter my collection, along with a trade dollar. An old $10 gold eagle also has been invited to the 2016 party. Awaiting RSVPs.
More ancients from military mints! Would like to add a McChord and Mildenhall trade token...Maybe someone will sell one? I should add an MPC too.
Always looking for those two for you, Jack. Tough ones to find though. Maybe 2016 will be the year. Good luck. Bruce
