Reported.. everyone else should too. Quick and easy to do. Click prohibited items, then "stamp, currency, coin", then "certified coin"

Nice catch, in the item specifics, it also claims to be certified by PCGS. I reported it.

    Done.

Believe we had a recent thread on this trick.

    Good catch.

What, exactly, are you reporting? Basement slabs aren't illegal, and the seller identified it as an unauthorized grading company. And PCGS does not appear in the auction copy.

Nothing illegal here but highly immoral.

Deceptive trade practice. There is a body of law dealing with organizations that take an acronym of a well-known company.

AAN-TV now selling NCG (National Collecting Guild) 2016 Silver Eagles. True BS on display! Supposedly these are MS70 First Day of Issue in black core, and of course the TV Show Host, Adam, is touting these and equating these to those graded by PCGS. I write coin TV Network buyer guides, and this just reeks of garbage! No way these are 70's, and likely 68's or 69's at best. You're better off having coins' raw (ungraded)! Even $44 for these is a hustle and rip-off. Nothing new for AAN, but surprised they even sunk this low. Buyer beware!

I hope the seller edited the listing because there's absolutely nothing wrong with it now. The guy even admits in his description that it's not a "recognized company", nor is there any mention that I can see if NGC.

    "NCG" is not "NGC".

Even AAN-TV Show Host, Adam is having a tough time saying "NCG" versus NGC! Truly laughable if it weren't so pathetic. Newbies will be buying these unfortunately for them.

What will they ever do when USC ever plays USC in football? Univ. Southern Ca vs. Univ. South Carolina.

He must have changed his listing. When I saw it, he was advertising it as NGC, which it is not. He also drastically lowered the price from earlier.

He also had it listed as being PCGS certified but that's gone now too.

Ah. Yeah, that would have been cause for action.

He updated the listing and removed the "NGC MS66" from the title. He also changed the $1500.00 price tag that was originally on the coin.

    It's legit now, caveat emptor - but it's a legit listing. :)

Can't someone force them to add a bold disclaimer on these "shows"? They are surely trying to deceive. And I am sure they already have mislead plenty of buyers into purchasing these phonies.
