I want to know if this is a, double die or error I don't know at,all and I don't think so but I just can't stop questioning it, can someone help me out?
Welcome to the neighborhood! Your photos are too small. We need close-ups of the area(s) in question. Chris
I don't see any doubling. A Cent from 1968 has almost 48 years in circulation so it has wear and tear that can cause it to look like it does. FYI - the correct term is Doubled Die not Double (I want to share this webpage with you) - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doubled_die
My iPhone takes decent enough photos as long as the lighting is good and the coin/hand is steady. Just use a good light, set the coin on a table, and take a photo with the camera/phone parallel to the coin, it'll help.
Thanks! I have an LGG4 and it usually takes good pics but just not getting it right! Its just wires to me at lincolns body is like 3D! Is that normal?
@mmagitha Don't know about the "wires" but the "3D" lincoln bust is nothing more than an optical illusion. The crud and circulation toning that is outlining the bust and in the crevices is highlighting the detail and making it seem like it's "popping out" and in higher relief than it actually is
