Great new pickups guys... well, back from vacation, so let's post some new pickups... today's new pickup is another Greece, this one a much tougher to come by earlier 1922 series. Great engraving designs on these notes for the vignettes, front and back, showing the Acropolis on the rear, and some hot girl on girl on the front, since I have no idea what else that actually is an engraving of. Don't spoil the illusion for me...

Today's new pickup is this high mileage educational series $5... always popular, I picked it up on a whim, might end up selling it since I got a decent deal on it and these are always in demand, but I saw it going once, going twice, and decided to make it sold...

This year's Christmas present to myself... I've always wanted a three-dollar note and while searching I came across this one and just loved the design and knew right away that this was the one so I put it in my stocking.. What a surprise!!! :)

I don't know you skippy, but I like your style...

Today's new pickup is a stylish note itself, this a fancy looking $20 obsolete from the Phoenix Bank. Ink gall is common on these notes, big signature loops cut deep into the notes, but the engraving is top notch and it has great design elements, the 3D cameo at left with the engraved coins, the cherubs in the great big 20 counter, just overall a fancy schmancy note...

Well, got home last night after visiting with children and grandchildren and "found" that I had won this note in the Heritage Tuesday auction. Real surprise as I thought for sure my bid would be too low. But, I'm not complaining.

In my excitement about the $20 LGS I had completely forgotten about these two from the same auction. Hope you enjoy them as much as I.

First note for 2016. Marked the 1864 $50 off the list.

    I have a five-cent Fractional Currency that I bought for a notch under $5.

However, I don't collect paper money too much. It's too expensive. If I want anything older than 1899 I'll have to pay $500 minimum for a dead-end example.
