Just Looking for information on these bills, I know they are in bad shape. I know the German And France are 1944 but that's all, thanks in advance!
Those have to be some of the worst pictures I have ever seen posted. However, it is just possible to discern a couple of pieces of common Allied Military Currency from the occupation of Europe, a Mexican peso, and a Japanese occupation note for the Philipines. None have any noticeable value. They'd be in a note dealers pick and mix junk box.
I'm glad these are some of the worst pics you have ever seen, I just asked who knew about them and stated the condition was horrible to start with. I don't care about value, they are pieces I picked up from my grandfather when he passed and thought they were interesting. So thank you for your opinion.
JP, I love the pictures and the bills. To have them from your grandfather, they are priceless! It is sad that there are several individuals who feel they have to put down other collectors to make themselves 'more knowledgeable', or whatever...to themselves. Go to a coin store and buy paper money protectors to store your grandfather's notes. And enjoy them.
I agree with KarlB 100%; these are family keepsakes so "value" means little. It's the memory of your grandfather. Was he perhaps a World War II vet? If so, then you should be extra proud.
