    Hello,

I know one of the 09-S is corroded and the 1877 as well, what would be the detail grades?

    Thanks 040.JPG 039.JPG 041.JPG 042.JPG 043.JPG 044.JPG

Geeze, they're keys. What are you figuring on doing with them? Even the first one is cleaned, so figure they'll all be discounted. I think your bigger issue here is attribution. This is one of the times we want a TPG.

I'd say the 1909-S is a F12. Each letter in LIBERTY can be made out, at least partially. The 1877 I'd call an AG details. It doesn't have full rims.

    1) 1909 S Fine, details
    2) 1909 S, VF-XF, environmental damage
    3) 1877 AG/G damaged

First 1909S VF 25 faint details, but uniform wear
Second 1909S VF 20 Obs shows good detail, but appearance is poor
1877 AG3 Except for excessive wear on top of Obs, this would easily be good. Very attractive for a 138 year old coin
