One of the things I really like about coin collecting is that you can do it for not much cost. Coin collecting totally spans the spectrum of coin values, from ultra rarities that cost millions of dollars, to coins you can pull out of pocket change for face value. Post your favorite coin purchase of 2015 that cost you $50 or less. Here's mine, it cost me $10.

That's easy. I paid $50 for this at the long beach expo in September (Raw, not including grading and John's sticker)

Are you sure it doesn't go up to the hair then follow the hairline to the back cheek then meets the crack coming down? The crack coming down, where it meets the up with the crack at the cheek, then goes further down into the cheek past and to the side of where the two join near the hair?

I'll have a look at it this evening after work. To tell you the truth I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to it since it's not a Morgan....;)

Well I know the pain .....as as a kid the 50 D was the only nickel I needed to complete my nickels. Now in 1960 they were $35.00 that equals $ 279.53 in today's money.
I think you got a steal!:)

Just shipped out today so I haven't received it yet, but I'm more excited about it than anything else I've bought. Best $4 I spent all year.
