Found this in a proof set at the local flea market. Pretty sure it will go CAMEO, pretty sure it's a DDO-003. Easily shows doubling on IN GOD WE TRUST, LIBERTY, Kennedy's profile, and the date. Tripled 4. Straight G on the reverse. Broken serif on the I of LIBERTY. Has some hairlines (wasn't me, literally JUST took it out of the set today) and a minor smudge on the obverse by WE TRUST... For some reason, my camera's sensor isn't playing nice...so getting the images in focus was a bit of a hassle. Turned the closeups to black & white to help show the details.
Best part is that I didn't even notice (or look for) the DDO when I was buying it. Just noticed the AH...and noticed it may or may not be CAM (sometimes hard to tell through the cello.) Opened it up and was like YES!!!!!!
Another highlight (kinda) of the day at the flea market: A dealer friend showing me his 1938 Jefferson Nickel that he swore had the same doubling on MONTICELLO as the 1939 DDR. Yeah, no. Strike doubling all the way. Didn't seem to believe me. Wants me to bring my NGC AU58 1939 tomorrow to show him.
That is a very nice find. When I look at your photos they look more like a 64PR DDO-022 than a DDO-003. The two are very similar. A difference would be the upper hair...003 has doubling and the 022 doesn’t. Larry Nienaber
