I would chose to educate yourself more on the subject before purchasing it. Most people don't collect coins for the investment either, there are better things to invest in. If you are buying it just as an investment I would pass. Collect coins because you like them, money is secondary. There's a difference between collecting and investing. I hope I helped.

Know what you are getting, could be fakes.

Most likely fakes. I went to Korea over the summer and coins like this were all over in the coin shops. Boxes and boxes of them. Clearly fakes.

most likely fakes. coins from China get faked a lot. If it is not slabbed PCGS or NGC I would not buy it. I hate to ask how much you spent on those coins ???

Could be anything. The plastic does not help, nor does the video, they just look like a load of grey discs.

Clear photos of a sample half dozen would be more useful than a lengthy vidoe that really shows nothing identifiable as fake or genuine.

Some wag has to say this, so I will: I thought the Chinese were too busy counterfeiting our coins to have time to cointerfeit theirs.

    Seriously, I agree with Coinman.

I would say that most if not everything I see there are fakes. I know for sure some of them are.

They are all fake. EVERY one of them. Point one: They are coins. Point two: They are in China. Point three: They are on Ebay. Bags of sand are worth more and are a better investment than coins on Ebay out of china. Hope I got my point accross.

With the above said, I would like to say, welcome to the hobby, and welcome to Cointalk! There are many people on here who will steer you in the right direction in your collecting and investing. My advice: Find a series that you like, with coins that are in your budget. Until you are able to grade coins yourself, be sure to buy already graded coins especially if you are buying often faked coins such as chinese coins. Find auction catalogs you can download from the big auction houses so you can see what the real coins look like before you buy. Hope that this helps.
