Hey friends, I bought a couple of these sets thinking they were gonna be a big ticket item and a quick flip. Come to find out, the generation who was around in 1963 when we lost our President Kennedy was over 50 years ago and the youngsters don't really know what a great President he was becoming. At any rate, if you bought a set of the John Kennedy Chronicles have you sold it yet? Any profit? Gonna keep or sell? Just wondering, as I have two and I haven't even opened them yet as I was too busy kicking myself on the posterior. Oh, if the subject has already been talked about, disregard. Anyone?
Bought a bunch. Sold a few before they were in hand for a small profit. All the ones after that have been sold for a loss, just to re-coupe some money. You will probably always be in the hole with them.. might as well get them out and look at them.
Store it away. In ten or twenty years, folks who desire the reverse proof Kennedy will emerge and pay big bucks for it. I'll be long gone.......
Speaking of the medal, NGC has created a Registry Set for the coin & medal and the medal alone. Chris
I did get a 70, that was a surprise, also a 69 which I sold. I must admit I like the medal much better.
