From where I live, they seem close.

 

Ya I do Kingston but out of city. JD DeForest he owns Golf school and whole course he an ex pro golfer I grew up with. But I know it's not him he no a collector. Only car and golf that JD no coins unless in pockets

I broke down and opened my SS gift a number of days ago. This is how it all went down. Pretend I am the cat and my wrapped present was the camera. Once I got that close, it was all over for that wrapped gift!

Gots a package today from the great state that Joshua Chamberlain hails from. I suspect it's from my Secret Santa. Under the tree it went. Lets see.......a week till Christmas Eve.......I think I may be able to resist the temptation to tear into it till then.

 

I got something that fit right in with my collection, and something I did not have before...... a 1962 Proof Cameo Jefferson Nickel!!!!! (PF68) Awesome to have this now, and so cool that my SS knew just what to get me. Thank you so much, Secret Santa (who I am pretty sure I know just who you are).

I don't have great pics of it yet, because all the ones I took so far don't even do it justice. But this is sort of what it looks like:

 

If you haven't gotten yours yet, it's because I just got it in the mail today. Been having a LOT of things going on recently but finally shipped it off today. Should be there by next Monday morning, so just in time for Christmas.

I greatly apologize for the delay. This is by far the latest I've shipped during these SS's.

 

My situation was the same. Just went out Thursday am after I returned from an unexpected 2 week trip... Should be there in plenty of time....

 

got mine yesterday. I scored big time. chocolate coins (eaten half of them) lol, 2 bank notes 1 from Canada and 1 I think it's Russian ? 1991 proof set, a 1969 Australian unc. set, and a very nice 1984 United Kingdom proof set. that 20 pence coin is very nice... my favorite coin of course was the 10 pence...I have a thing for lion coins...check out my avatar pic. sorry the pics are so crappy. thank you secret santa you made me very happy with these coins and notes. Merry Christmas to you and your family and have a very Happy New Year. incoming hug.

 

not opening these coins presents until Christmas would be like putting a kid in a candy store and telling them not to eat any candy. you better believe I opened it that same day/night received. lol

 

Nice. That fifty pence looks to have some cool toning.

 

I think this has been sitting in my box for a while but I was just able to make it to the post office today. Exams were kicking my butt.
