Had it for a few weeks now & decided to open mine as others seemed to have today, below is my secret santa additions. I really should get more Nabataeans, they are fairly neat. Would especially like to get a silver sometime in 2016. I didn't have the reverse type the Constans has, so that is nice to have. The world coins were a nice bonus, actually didn't have these particular dates, only after WW2. Love my french moderns. So thank you Secret Santa! Malichus II & Shuqailat II (40 - 70 A.D.) Speaking as the resident Nabataean nerd, that bronze is special. The issues of Malichus II are quite scarce compared to those of Aretas IV, and it's correctly attributed. The letters on the reverse are in fact mem-lamedh-kaph-yod. Sometimes you find the common issues of Aretas IV being sold as the scarce versions of Malichus II.
Quite a 'hoard' of gifts !!! Wonderful Variety!! I'm starting to feel like a scrooge compared to what I sent and what others have sent to their 'giftee' Now I'm debating whether I should open mine and rationalize the Saturnalia excuse....
