    Hey guys,

I've been collecting coins since I was in grade school and I had two rather special coins in my collection for over 20 years now and I was wondering what they might be worth.

The first one is a Gold 1905-S $5 Liberty which I'm pretty sure is at least MS-60

The other is a PCGS certified MS-61 2 1/2 Gold Liberty dated 1892

I've since moved on to collecting watches and don't get to enjoy my coin collection as often as I used to. I'm thinking of selling some of the coins, the other coins I've collected simply have good memories attached to them or were given to me by family and friends and I would not sell them.

I can only tell you what the Coin Values price guide says.

    Gold 1905-S $5 Liberty MS-60- $600

    PCGS certified MS-61 2 1/2 Gold Liberty 1892- (MS60= $950, MS62= $1250) + whatever premium people place on the grading.

Would I be correct on the origin of your username if I screamed "Taquitos !!" or " Ride the Pig!!" ??

Thank you for the info rotobeast, those prices aren't bad considering how much I paid for them years ago.

And yes, you would be correct, Mr. Vasquez is one of my friends and I happen to be nearly 6'8" tall. The nickname stuck :D

The Greysheet pricing lists the 1905-S at $365 in MS 60 and the 1892 lists at $600 in MS-60 and $900 in MS-62.

Thank you for the kind welcome guys, I'll be keeping almost all of my collection but these two coins I could part with if the need arose. It's been awile since I've seen the coin collecting scene so I may stick around and peruse the forums a bit to see what's up :)

rotobeast, Jhonen says that he always appreciates you guys enjoying his work. Sorry we couldn't have lasted longer on tv, it was great fun while it lasted though. :)
