    Something about the bottom right coin makes me think I ought to be seeing a "D" mint mark on it, but I don't.

    Three different reverses. The Type A is the normal, expected reverse. The Type B was supposed to be a Proof-only reverse, yet a few slipped into Business Strike use in the late 50's and 60's, and the Business Strike examples are pretty uncommon and collectable. The Type C is 1964-D only, and is a die intended for use in 1965 on the new clad coinage which somehow got into the wild early and struck 1964's. It's a biggie in terms of rarity.
