Flea Market Day

Today went to my flea market (didn't have much money on me, but got some things I wanted) I got:

a 1964 Proof half dollar for $6
a 38 S nickle for $2
39 D nickle for $5
and last but not least...
a very nice looking 1909 VDB cent that has some killer toning going on, for $11

Not much today, but stuff I've been wanting to get. Thanks for reading!

Nice coins. That is why I love flea markets. I go to at least 2 a week. Not to many coin dealers left at the flea markets around here. To much theft. You did real good at yours.

That's an idea! I'm going to the NOISE coin show tomorrow in Itasca. Maybe on the way back I'll stop at one of the flea markets. Haven't been to a flea market in years but I remember one called Wolffy's. Anyone from the Chicagoland area should know of it. There was a lonely coin dealer there last time wonder if he's still there. Wish me luck!

Thanks all! I am really happy with my purchases, a few steps closer to completing my circ. nickel set. Having a hard time finding a 55 P for some reason though. It has a bit of a low mintage though, which is probably why. Thanks all for the replies!

Nice VDB. I put up a pic of the one I bought in the "1917-S Upgrade..." thread but it's not nearly as nice as yours...

 

As requested (thought you would want to see them dak ) the nickels, I'll let you guys guess the condition, but I think the 39 D is around high end VF-XF, and the 38 S is F-VF? Not sure, but I think iO did pretty good on them. Here they are:
