Roosevelt Dime with Rotated background image

    I found a small die break on the reverse of a dime on the left leaf, but also noticed that there is a rotated image of the reverse on the flat surface. I attached a couple pictures of just the coin with different lighting to show the image then another to outline the image. I don't think it's PMD because I would think it would also show on the raised surface of the rest of the coin. Any ideas? Maybe just lamination.     I think you're looking too hard to find something that isn't there.

    It's not PMD, but also isn't some sort of rotated image; that's pareidolia. The exact cause/name for this escapes me, but it is quite common on the type. If you compare to even a handful of other examples, you're sure to see it to some (greater/lesser) degree.
