1839-46 Robert Soulsby Voux Hall Tavern

    here is a token I picked up with a 1882-O/S Morgan for under 100$ Don't know much about these but thought it was a cool piece of history. Here is a link I found for these.

    I know someone Will ask so here is the morgan I got at the same time.

    1882-O/S not sure what it will grade but I liked it.

    Very nice pick ups, the 82 O/S is a neat omm. As for the token, I know the person whom the article references . He collects tokens from this time period . There seems to be quite a few tokens from Baltimore establishments during this time frame. I recall him posting soda shops,bars/taverns. The eagle used is very common on tokens I've seen during the same time period .
    Somewhere around here I have a book binding company from the mid west I believe that carries the same eagle.

    As I recall, this token is listed in the US Tokens catalog by Rulau. When I get home I'll update this post with the catalog number for your reference.

    Looking at your 82 O/S from your images I'm trying to determine what one it is. I will post mine and you can also see the 4 Vams at Vam World of the 82 O/S .
    I notice how mine the S is centered in the O yours looks to be south of the O's center. From your images it almost looks to be that the S is lower tilted to the left.
