1883 O Morgan...but looks like guilded in gold, what is this?

    anyone have a clue what the deal is with this coin, i can see a mark on the edge were silver has been exposed, isnt 1883 a desirable year? any info would be helpful thanks.

    With morgans, 03 and 93 are the good "3" years although 83s ain't too shabby. Unfortunately 83o is one of THE most common with any real value coming at 65 but really 66 and above ;)
