Does anyone have the PCGS population totals for MS 69/70 and PR 69/70 20'TH Anniversary Silver Eagles in Burnished Unc, Reverse Proof and Reg. Proof coins?

I have the NGC totals, but am not subscribed to PCGS. I've been offered all of these in both 69 and 70 at decent prices, but just need to know if high numbers are quite available or very rare in those grades. Thanks for your help!

    799977 2006-P $1 Eagle-20th Anniv. Rev Pr PR

    PR67 7
    PR68 1224

Just so you know, PCGS has decided not to give any MS70's on SAE's. This is due to spotting caused by the rinse used by the mint during planchet preperation. Hope this helps!

    I changed your question slightly ( hope ya don't mind ) :D

Because most people have perceptions about PCGS that are just plain wrong.

In this particular case, the SAE sets had to be sent in unopened to PCGS in order to qualify for the 20th Anniversary designation. So, even though an MS69 SAE isn't even worth the grading fee, the Proof and especially the Reverse Proof, more than made up for a small loss on the MS. Other than that, the only reason to bother sending in MS SAE's to PCGS for grading is to keep a Registry Set current. It's an almost sure loss. Hope this helps!
