    @techwriter,

    It is wholly unnecessary to quote an entire post when most of it has nothing to do with the intended response. This small additional effort, in fact, helps keep things in context, makes it easier for the reader to follow, and is not something I will change about my posting habits. I'm sorry of this bothered you, but in no way did my actions detract from, or change the meaning of your post, nor was it intended to. It wasn't necessary to address your mention of "asterisks/ or 'private listing' bidders" as both are non issues in the present discussion, and the crease has nothing to do with the OP's shill accusation.

    Also, sir; remember, this is a discussion forum, so while I appreciate that you "don't mind" if I quote you, with all due respect, it's not your choice to make. Nothing about my post was, in any way, disrespectful, against the rules, or in violation of simple common courtesy.

    With that said, I didn't see Mr. Witten's near identical post prior to posting mine, and it certainly was not my intent to repeat it. For this you both have my apologies. @jwitten

    You guys need to check out all the "cutting error" notes people are making on ebay by cutting up bep sheets, extremely dishonest if you ask me when there really are cutting errors. I can't figure out how to report these people to ebay from my phone

    Yes, very shady. Like the $2 Legal Tender notes with the "orange seal error". It's a shame people destroy perfectly good notes. Greedy! I still can't believe someone would bid up ol' vette's circulated notes when they can get the same thing on eBay for a fraction of the cost. $2 1928 G LT's aren't uncommon in any condition. Maybe the red felt is mesmerizing...

    It's amazing how people fall for it when the next listing down is another bill exactly like it with only 1 number off of the previous listing serial number..I need those guys to bid on my bills :/

    When I buy at any auction, for whatever reason, I do my research and determine a price. Whether it is a live auction or a snipe it does not matter and I could care less who is bidding. I either get the item or I don't.
