Does this look like something to want?.

    1982 1c. As i type this I remember how I forgot to weigh the coin whether copper or not. Shouldnt matter much i think.

    Anyway it looks like an 50 straight to the face and few other letters less visible except with a 30x loupe. Some doubling on the obverse with the most easily visible being the number two in the date and the nine in the date as well. Anyone know what this penny might come to be besides a dirty penny?     It's completely PMD - Post (after mint) Mint Damage. You have a very old Cent with lots of hits and scratches. I really don't see any Doubling at all.

    Well, you know it's copper. With that much damage, zinc would undoubtedly be exposed if it weren't.

    My impression, looking at the coin, was ".50 Cal." :)

    I thought the same.. but that caliber would of blown Lincoln's head completely off! :dead:
