    Looks AU58 details. Too bad about the cleaning...it's a beautiful coin.

    I have posted the pics, so we will see what people over there say. Hopefully Rick Snow will chime in.....he usually does when the topics are Flying Eagle or Indian Cents.

    Here is some updated information:

    Rick Snow posted on the forum and said that this is an 1858/7. You have yourself quite a coin there. Edduns, I have sent you a PM.

    It is an 1858/7 Early die state too! with the cleaning as AU it is probably worth _______ (Grey sheet price is not realistic)

    1858/7 Snow-1 AU-50 Early Die State $2,000.00 See Image
    Here is a super early die state example of the popular S1 overdate. The 7 shows plainly and the strike is a full as these come! The 1858/7 is always weak on the tail and corresponding area of the wreath. This coin has a few light marks but these do not distract from the coin. This is a very difficult coin to find in this grade. Jump on it!
