A few days a go @mikenoodle , via the Facebook group for The Coin Show, offered up a dollar bill in the style of a short snorter, signed by Matt Dinger (@LostDutchman) and Mike Nottelmann (mikenoodle), and thier guests for the live show that they recorded at the 2013 ANA Worlds Fair of Money. I had to have it. Once I was declared the winner of the auction, Mike made it known that he had 2 more of these, so two of the other group members threw in the same amount I did and they each got one as well. All said Mike was able to pull in $150 which was all donated to Children's Oncology Services in Chicago. What a fantastic idea! I am stoked about having this. I commented on the FB group for The Coin Show, that most of the items in my collection that I'm most proud of or that are more near and dear to me are not the high dollar pieces, but pieces like this. Can anyone guess who signed the reverse? If you were there or part of the FB group don't spoil it.
I remember signing a short snorter bill for CT gang. that was fun. my question today is...are we doing the secret santa thing again this christmas ? I hope so that was fun. I also liked knowing what my person likes to collect coin wise.
