What coins should I get for Christmas? I prefer Seated Half Dimes / Dimes over other stuff, but other stuff is still nice. If you recommend seated half dimes/dimes, please list some dates.
Both the seated half dime and seated dime series are extremely collectible, with many good values in each . . . just don't be married to the prices you see in the guides . . . my opinion is that the most common dates can be had for less than the price guides indicate, but many other dates can be multiples of what the guides say . . . especially the unrecognized scarcities.

Can't tell you about the foreign coin since they are foreign to me. The dealers at quick glance seem to be reliable for the U.S. coins. But I don't collect those, so hopefully, some of the members who do will check in.
