That would be nice on the reverse. Except that the mint will probably modify the design to make it to work better for the current presses. That will probably make it lose some of it's artistic value. Try comparing the portrait of Lincoln on a 1909 cent to one on a 2015 cent and see the difference. IMO the portrait George Washington on the quarters made in the 1990's and the state quarter are a good example of this, I don't like weird spaghetti hair.
I will preface my original comment that using the Gobrecht dollar is the only exception I would make "if" Congress or the US Mint changed the design. Otherwise, leave it alone.
