Secret Santa 2015 - The Real One :)

None of y'all should worry, we are all just coin nerds who like coins and such. No real need to worry about what you send, we have a great list of members this year who I'm sure would love anything that you send.

Got my gift for my recipient. Just haven't had time to send it. I'll probably send it Monday or Tuesday

 

Got mine in the mail the other day. Didn't realize what it was and opened it so I'll try to have some pics up here soon.

My recipients should go in the mail tomorrow.

 

I hope no one thinks this of me, I really am waiting until Christmas to open it.

I also had a hard time figuring out what my person would like, especially in the $15 range, so I went with one of my favorites. I hope to send mine out in a couple of days.

 

each year there seems to be a spectrum of participants.

Some are disappointed in the gift that they receive, and openly question what their Secret Santa sent.

Some are a bit more discreet with their disappointment.

and some are appreciative of the gift, the spirit in which it was sent, and the whole idea of how this giveaway brings us closer together as a community.

Think about this... it's difficult to send a $15 gift for a coin collector, and especially if they are, as most of us are, enveloped in a specific endeavor, but folks... use this to enjoy something that you likely would not have bought, or even considered buying and learn something new about something that someone else loves.

Some of the Santas over the years have been very generous, and sent gifts well beyond the $15 suggested price, and some have sent gifts that might be a bit less than the suggested amount, but if we all share our gifts, and our enthusiasm for them, we can all get excited as a group, and enjoy the deeper purpose of exchanges like this one.

The package I've sent has been confirmed delivered, yet no word from the recipient of being received. I'm a tad worried.........

Meh, I wouldn't worry. I got mine the other day but just now got around to posting as such today. The holidays are a busy time for many, they'll be around to confirm.

 

Pretty sure I got my SS 2015 gift as I wasn't expecting anything else. Haven't opened it to confirm as I usually let my kids open it every year. Will be attempting to hold out but it did arrive safe and sound and once it does get opened pics, etc will follow.

I just got my Gift wrapped and will be sending it out tomorrow. I haven't checked my mail in a couple of day's just in case someone sent me one and it has not been confirmed as receiving it.

I've never been one to wait. I know I will probably open in not long after receiving it. LOL
