What kind of damage is this?

laminated planchet? Die Break? I'm just trying to figure out how to label it. If you need more pics then let me know. I don't have very good gear. I see the obvious die crack that runs across the E but the chunk, is that a laminated planchet section?

I think the title of your thread should of been, What kind of error is this? Damage is the word we use when it's usually PMD

I can see the crack running too the side of the stairs on the right side .

Wonder how much farther it goes ?
