2007 "w" ASE ?'s and $

My 2 cents:
I do not see these being anything special. Look at track records. Name any 2nd yr issue coin that is better than the first yr? 99 Sil P/s then the 00 Sil P/S no good then the 01 sil is good.

There is soo much buzz about the 06 W's that people will run out and buy more than they can afford to hold on to of the 07's. They wil dump them and the price will get run into the ground

I expect there will be plenty of these available. I agree, buy the ASE for the coin, not the future speculative prices.

 

Not really sure at this point. I'd guess that some of the combination sets will go to 3x, but what we'll want to look for is end of year and afterthought stuff.

Sometimes it's obvious. For example, you knew the marine corps dollar would be a hit as we're at war.

Last fall when they came out just towards the end with the aniversary stuff - 3 piece and separate burnished 2007W's - again - a no-brainer - just back up the truck. I ordered 5 of the sets and initially 3 of the burnished silver eagles and came back the nest week and ordered more of the eagles.

Granted you can't always hit them twice and particularly after something is obviously going to be hot.

What will be hot this year? Geez, I wish I knew. It still looks like the first spouse gold coins will be great, but they can get pricey. I still think the Pres dollar proof set will be good 'cause it's the first year. But who really knows?

And I agree about the prez proofs, I plan on buying a ton of these!

 

2007 w silver eagle

2007 w silver eagle won't fly high. it will be at bullion value or near bullion value. that's mean you gonna lose some money on it. maybe 2009 or 2010 w will be better than 2007. but 2006 w is the best.
