Hi I know this was a long time ago. I am curious about the Oregon Locations Known to Have Tokens/Oregon Tokens of Interest by Ed Saunders. Did this ever really get published? It seems like the one I have was a pre-publication copy and has a number. The handwritten note from Ed Saunders in the book indicates hoping for publication April 1 of 1983. I just can't seem to find any info and your post was the only one I found. I have a few odd token books and I am going to contact a gentlemen here in Oregon who wrote a token book, but thought I would see what info you might have, and if would share that info =) Best, Renate Dietrich

Can't help you, have no info on that book, the only books that I have been offered are generally in narrow fields or CWT's and way over priced.

I have a question, and plz forgive me as I'm quite new to this.

Does the items of Exonumia have any unique identification numbers assigned to them in the same way the, let's say Pick Numbers are assigned???

What about stock and bonds certificates? I know there's a CUSIP # however if a company changes that number (multiple reasons) then that number can be reassigned. So is there any similar number, ie like the Pick # assigned to those items, it even postage stamps? I'm told about Scott numbers but unless you purchase those catalogs where can you find a stamps Scott # online free???

Sorry... I just like to have things in order and exact.

    Thanks

No single book encompasses all exonumia, there is just too much of it. There are many books on all kinds of different exonumia and more often than not there is more than just one number per token.

TokenCatalog.com has the most complete catalog of exonumia.

I'm not sure as I don't collect them.

    Welcome to CoinTalk! :)
