Missed a Janus, got a Jugate...

    Lol! I know, I usually avoid slabs, but this one needs to be liberated:banghead:! As @Mikey Zee says, it commentates a historical event.

    Here is a Republican denarius, jugate left:

    C. Sulpicius C.F. Galba, 106 BC.
    18 mm. 3.88 grams. Serrate.
    Jugate, laureate heads of Dei Penates (household deities) left. D.P.P downwards to left
    Two male figures, each with a spear pointing down in left with right pointing at a sow which lies between them. I above.
    C SVLPICI CF (LP conjoined)
    Crawford 312/1. Sulpicia 1. Sear 189.

    That Sulpicius denarius has made it onto my wish list, a beautiful coin!
