    Entry post BTW!

Would love coin B. Saw it up for a previous contest and wanted it then too. Wonderful design.

    As always, thanks LordM!

masterswimmer A Caretaker, can't take it with me

I'd like to join in on this giveaway, Rob. Thank you for the opportunity.

The choice of which coin is extremely easy for me. Reason being, I'd like the prize to go to @Abramthegreat if I should be so lucky to be selected. It might be a more difficult choice for him though.

Good luck Atg, and to all the other participants.

I want in! Of course I'd choose the Hamburg piece as I collect German States coinage!
A couple new hellers for eye candy!

Nah, the mouse is knackered. It does like an unnecessary double click.

Your mouse might be knackered, but the forum's server has been having some issues which have resulted in a lot of those double posts. You're far from alone in that. (I removed your dupe post above, since I as a moderator can do that.)

I think a lot of the time it's because the server is responding so slowly, and folks click "post reply" again without waiting for it to finish doing its stuff.

If you do ever get more double (or triple- whatever) posts, you can't delete them completely, but you can edit them so that the duplicate ones just contain a period (.), or a note saying "double post", if you like. You should always be able to edit within the first 24 hours.

I would like to participate and if I won, I would like coin A. Having recently gotten bit by the bug again, it would be a great way to get back into ancients.

I want in (and very generous of you to share your coins!). I would love the bronze As of Claudius. Those large bronzes have a lovely solidity and feel in hand. For Claudius - it was impressive he managed to become emperor despite his physical challenges (and battling with four wives!). Chris Scarre also talks about his 'feeble' public jokes. Have to admire an emperor who makes dad jokes...

Chris Scarre's Chronicle of the Roman Emperors was my go-to information source when I started collecting their coins. I really enjoyed that book and learned a lot from it.

Exactly that - I started collecting 3 years ago and it is/was a great reference for new emperors I get. Requires less commitment than certain authors (such as Goldsworthy)!
