Stop posting so many delicious gold coins. You are giving me the urge to set aside some cash over the next month or two to get me an ancient gold coin. Why must you tempt me so?
This is my bucket coin and the top piece I hope to acquire for my collection. Kudos to you, man I am jealous.

What's up with all that bling!!? lol I don't own a gold coin myself because of course they can be very expensive, even the cheapest ones. Nice op coin and congrats to all you guys who have a gold coin.
Eng I never get tired of seeing these coins. The only bad thing is you ruined Byzantine gold coinage for me. Everytime I see one I have to compare it to you coins and it has to be at least almost as nice as yours. Not an easy task. Thanks bud.
@JBGood, Jeeze man your killing me here. Here is my Lysimachos Stater...you all must be tired of seeing it by now.
That is very nice. The mostly of Byzantine gold coins available for sale are almost always minted in Constantinople. Can you or anyone here tell me why your solidus has a weight of only 3,6g? I see your coin is perfectly circle, has it been filed?
Nice coins guys. Still looking for more old gold, maybe next year I will add a couple more to my collection.
Its edges were clipped, reducing the size and weight. Here's a good webpage discussing coin clipping: http://www.historyhouse.co.uk/articles/coin_clipping.html
