What Alexander ?

    After cleaning this coin, I could read Basileus and Alexander on reverse. There's also a monogram in exergue. Could you please assist me to find out which one of the Alexandrian Dynasty is this. It weighs 9.47 g. AlexN O 001.jpg NikAlex R 001.jpg NikAlex 600 001.jpg

    look for Seleucids coins, then it is easy I think.

    After searching, I found that it's very probably Alexander I Balas. Reverse is Athena holding Nike. Houghton 9oo.
