Found this one while searching my first Kennedy silver hunt what kind of error if any is this ? and is it worth hanging on to?
At first I thought struck through grease ( 1st photo) but your last photo says struck through by some other thing, possibly broken off metal from another coin as it is laid over the devices. (Stars & letters) Possibly a shattered die? But I could be wrong.
