Does anyone know if the San Francisco coin show is on this December? It used to be during the Summer and then in December, but the most recent organizer moved out of the country. I heard Tom Cederlind is organizing it and I've got an email out to him but have yet to hear. It's a fine excuse to go to San Fran to act badly for a weekend. Oh, and see coins. Actually, several of the major dealers (CNG, HJB, Baldwins and Heritage) sometimes would bring their NYINC coin lots there so you could get a sneak peek. Hoping the rumor is true...
Yes it is, despite the short notice, and CNG will indeed be there with a large portion of Triton. Holiday Inn Golden Gateway Van Ness & California San Francisco, CA Goldrush Exhibit Hall - lower level Friday December 11 from 10AM until 6 PM Saturday December 12 from 10AM until 5PM
Awesome! Thanks AJ! The SFHB website says cancelled but that is run by the prior organizer. Now, to get out of the plans my wife has for me that weekend...
Thanks, Joe! I've been trying to find out if this show was going to be held or not, since John Jencek moved to the Czech Republic. I will try to attend on Friday.
I would like to meet any CT attendees, but don't know any names or faces... Maybe I should wear a rose in my lapel. Uh, in San Francisco...maybe not!
The wife says yea, I can go! I'm still hungover from the Motorhead concert weekend with a buddy of mine last August in SF, but will somehow find the strength to get back up on the horse. The food, the booze, the homeless on every corner...I can't wait.
Anybody know if it's possible to submit coins to NGC Ancients for grading at the show? Also, anywhere I can find which dealers will be there.
